“ Order with grab food. I’m so impressive with this traditional nasi lemak since I’ve working in thailand 3 years homesick. The nasi lemak (especially their sambal chili and spices fried chicken ). So far I think this is the most delicious nasi lemak in thailand after I have tried few others Malaysian / Singaporean restaurant in Bangkok. The place is quite charming with a countryside interior style with red bricks and wooden touches We ordered the classic Nasi Lemak and since the noodles were freshly made, we had it as well. I personally wasn't a fan of the dish itself but my babe said it was quite authentic I did like the noodles but we aware of the dried salted fish, if left for a while, the soup can become a bit salty We were the first customers so didn't wait that long, but when there are many clients, the waiting time can become a bit long, so be prepared in case ”
“ Came to visit the restro because of its well packaged takeaway orders, wide variety of food and good taste. No doubt that taste wise it is proudly good Malaysian food. However, expectations for dining-in experience may have to be adjusted. The deco no doubt is cute and reminds you of old tea house and days in Malacca or Penang. However, there are only 4 medium sized tables so you have chance to share a table with strangers. Staff are helpful in general, but service speed is questionable for our visit. Empty cashier when we entered the shop. Staff are nice and polite, but need to remind them 3-4 times for wiping a table. It took almost 1 hour for the orders to come, and we were not advised that Nasi Lemak was sold out until waiting patiently for around 45 mins. The issue mentioned in the review 10 months ago seems still there. We tried to enjoy our food to the fullest though. Chinese herbal soup is a bit sweet type so better to order some less sweet drinks to get a balance. Judging from the guest reviews and my own on-site experience, the impression maybe the more ideal way to enjoy it is to order delivery, unless you are not very hungry or happen to have time to kill. You may need to read more reviews to form more informative decision. ”
“ I’m a Malaysian, and I can say the nasi lemak is great. The rice is aromatic, not just with coconut milk, but also with pandan and hints of spices. I got both squid and coconut curry, and you can taste the clear differences between both those curries and the default sambal, and savor each one. The latter has onion slices that are oh so tender and add juicy texture to that perfect nasi lemak bite. You can also see the dedication to craft in how they use two distinct types of dried anchovies for both the nasi lemak and the pan mee. 10/10. ”
“ If you wanted to find more Malaysian food choices, you can try it here with quite some variety of Chinese food available. Especially on the Pan Mee and Nasi Lemak and some local style drinks. The taste i would say 7.5/10.. not bad. But for the panmee, still lacking the punch of the traditional style of Chili sauce. Not available. Overall in such small shop, the setting is like a traditional old vide kopitiam.. but the prices are not cheap for the expecting patrons. Also not convenient for many customers to look for this shop.. in alley area, hidden and no parking space for public ”
